Yeah... another "big" day and this time it is really my big day.. My birthday!!!

Monday 31st Jan I'm one year older... but I'm still me hehe... Today is really a very special day... I received an email I have been waiting for the past 3 years... An email that says "Happy Birthday" and that's all! I'm not going to share about why is it so important to me coz it's going to be a long story... but the email is one of the best Birthday gift for me.

One of my friend came over to my office and picked me up for lunch. It's supposed to be something happy as we enjoyed ourselves. However I went back to office late due to some unexpected obstacles and got my senior angry at me. He looked really angry and I really don't know what else to say but sorry as he waited for me to drive me somewhere but I got back late! He thought I never take his words seriously... Sigh I really don't know what to say nor did I want to explain what happened. However I did enjoyed the lunch; my birthday gift a lot...

I worked very hard on my birthday reason being I want to finish up as much work as possible so that I can go celebrate with my bf. However I got a bit upset to know that work are pilling up and I might have to cancel all the plans. I just continued working and working... and pheww finally my boss said I could go back... I was so happily quickly packed and rushed off the building to meet my bf.

There I found a surprise in the car... A dozen of very beautiful roses... They are really very nice... He then brought me to a nice and cozy place for a romantic dinner... I enjoyed myself a lot... However the sad part is when the night ends I will have to go home and continue my office work...

Stayed up late to finish up part of the unfinished work but I guess all the fun I had was enough to make me forget how tired I am...

Don't get my wrong by reading the title of this blog... it's not my wedding day... Just a really big day on Sunday for me...

I started off 30t h Sunday by joining a group of friends for Dim Sum session @ KL. I was late and almost missed the Dim Sum hour. Was excited to meet my friends as I have not been seeing them for quite some time. I was quite shocked as I was looking throught the menu... all the Dim Sum are quite pricy. I really don't know what to order especially each Dim Sum has a funny name. Finally decided to order something called "Dragon's Beard" and also a bowl of Sze Chuan peanut soup noodle. My bf ordered fried rice since it's his favourite dish. We got a big shock when we received the order list from the waitress as the friend rice cost 20 bucks! Well, we thought nothing much we can do but pay... However we then found out what's with the pricing... I was speechless when I saw my bowl of noodle... it's enough to share among 3 person! The friend rice can be easily share among 5 person! So we end up sharing the food...

One of my friend bought me the expensive Dim Sum session as birthday present... really sweet. Then we went over to Times Square for another little gathering outside of XL Shop...yes the same old place... It's amazing how forum bring people together. We started of with 5 person @ Dim Sum... end up coincidently meeting 5 other members! Besides that I also met some interesting people with the most interesting occupation... a diorama engineer...

The "Big" day didn't end just that... I went around window shopping and I saw lots of nice stuff and I just wish I have "Big" money haha... I then went home to join my parents for dinner. My dad decided to bring me to Italianni's an italian restaurant I always wanted to try out. I got there earlier as my parents drove another car. I started off by ordering myself a drink called "Bay Breeze" which was then mistaken as "Sea Breeze" and "Ocean Breeze" by me and my bf. When everyone arrived we decided to make order. I have chosen what I want but my parents adviced me to share the order... I felt quite awkward at first but later I found out why and thank god I listened to them.

We ordered a Seafood Pizza, Alfredo pasta, grilled chicken and also this pasta name "Angel's Hair Merriterano". I was so shocked when the food are delivered upon the table... the portion are so big! The pasta could easily be share among 3 person! So is the rest of the food! However we managed to gulp up everything as it is very delicious. After the meal of course I won't miss the most important part of the day... the dessert. Then of course I will have to order my fav. Panna Cotta to make the day perfect. I ordered a Mango Panna Cotta and my brother ordered a Cheesecake and Tiramisu. Once again I got really shocked by the size of the dessert! I have never seen a cheesecake or Tiramisu that big! Those dessert can easily be share among 6-7 person!

I really enjoyed myself a lot... that Sunday was a great one... except that I have to pay the consequences later which is to stay up all night finishing up some office work... I didn't sleep at all the whole day till Monday morning about 4am... Amazing? from Sunday morning till Monday morning 4am I never get a chance to even close my eyes! But I survived... :D
